Privacy Policy — Ultra Enhancer

Last updated: 17 August 2026

Ultra Enhancer (“the extension”) is a browser extension that applies visual color and clarity adjustments to videos playing on web pages. Your privacy is simple to explain: the extension does not collect, transmit, or share any of your data.

Data we collect

None. The extension does not collect, store remotely, transmit, sell, or share any personal or usage data. It contains no analytics, no tracking, and no user accounts, and it makes no network requests.

Local settings storage

Your preferences — your custom grades, saved profiles, selected mode, and light/dark theme choice — are stored locally on your own device using the browser’s chrome.storage.local API. This information stays on your device, is used only to remember your settings between sessions, and is never sent to the developer or any third party.

Permissions

How processing happens

All video enhancement runs entirely on your device using GPU-accelerated CSS and SVG filters. The original video and the website itself are never altered or uploaded, and every adjustment is fully reversible.

Third parties

The extension uses no third-party services and shares no data with anyone.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the “Last updated” date above will be revised. Continued use of the extension after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
